1960's MODERN 9pc Hand Carved Sculptural HAWAIIAN WOOD CLAMSHELLS vintage Bowl set. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Absolutely stunning Estate HAND CARVED SCULPTURAL HAWAIIAN WOOD Clamshell bowl set. I had this stored away with the Blair Honolulu Koa wood tray, which recently just sold, for many years. I know i'LL never use and have no place to display...so up for sale it goes. This is no piddly little set, the large bowl measures 17" side to side, 11.5" wide and sits 4" off tabletop. Each of the 8 smaller clamsell bowls measure 8 1/2" side to side, 5 3/4" wide and sits 2" tall. Each bowl is hand carved into a clamshell but is completely different in appearance as there is a great deal of difference in the wood grain and burls. Please supersize pictures if your able,  to get an exact idea of the beauty and quality here. The last picture shows the only wear to set, which is a tight non moving hairline. When you feel these bowls in your hand only then will you understand that a Master Craftsman carved this set. It is Modern, Sleek and expertly Carved!
