    From the dust jacket: ' Walter Buehr tells and pictures the whole
    fascinating development of the lock from the early Egyptian one
    - the principle of which was further developed in the Yale lock.
    He shows by means of very simple diagrams exactly how each
    lock operates.'
    The book is in excellent, unread condition. The front of the dust jacket has a small tear on the bottom near the spine and there is a small piece missing from the bottom on the other edge.
    There are some scratches on the back of the dust jacket
    due to storage. There are some nicked corners and bruising on the dust jacket on the back bottom right hand edge. The inside pages are
    clean and bright with no ink or smudge marks, torn or missing pages.
