Old/vintage Hawaian Godfigure; patine! (Polynesia,Marquesas,Fiji,Maori,Hawai)

Description

For sale an old or vintage wood figure of a Hawaian God. I assume it may be an early souvenir as I took it along because the patine looks surprisingly good/nice (of older pieces). Also the expression and wear looks good. Anyway, if you dont have hundreds of thousands/millions to buy a real antique piece, this may be the best next.  Estimated 1930's
Coming from the estate from an ex-whaler Jan Vantook who worked at a whalingstation Salvesen &Co in the Faroe islands. Most pieces in the listing are from him. He served on a ship starting at age 23 in 1934 until 1950.
Condition; some damage to the top and rear as clearly (I hope) visible on the photos. .  Measures; H.20.5 x W8.5cm
