Description
I am the original owner of this 10th year anniversary R41GS razor from Muhle. The top cap and base plate are made from all stainless steel. The weight on this razor is significantly different from the 2013 version R41. They also combined the stainless steel head with the R89 (Grande) handle so it is heavier and longer than the original version.I am exiting the hobby so never go around to using the razor, as such, it is brand new and you can see that the plastic sticker is still protecting the top cap and base plate.
Thank you for looking. By the way, I am also including a tuck of my favorite Wizamet blades...they are not produced anymore and provide some of the most luxurious shaves.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Our TRADITIONAL – MÜHLE safety razor GRANDE, stainless steel, open comb
It is only his tenth birthday and yet he is a legend: The R 41 requires finesse of true professionals with ambition. The serration is rather wide in comparison. In addition, the blade is positioned flat. Both make for an offensive wet shave, for which you should have a firm grip on the classic safety razor.
Until now, the MÜHLE razor with open comb has had a classic chrome look. But for its anniversary, the R 41 also comes in stainless steel. Many of our customers have requested this and we are very pleased to be able to fulfil this wish. It simply feels good in the hand because – as the GRANDE version – it has a slightly longer, more voluminous handle and a few grams more. The fine chasing also provides the right grip. Ready to go? The polished stainless steel ensures the usual shiny appearance of the legendary R 41.
The head and handle are made entirely of this particularly durable material in steel-surgical quality. This also makes this R 41 a sustainable and plastic-free alternative for your morning grooming ritual – right down to the packaging. This razor with cult status is particularly suitable for men with a relatively thick, strong beard. But lovers of the designer stubble will also enjoy it.
The Razorhead – Tooth – comb razor
The safety razor with open tooth comb was developed specially for practiced wet shavers. Due to the principle of its construction, which features a special blade angle, the model allows a vigorous, very direct shaving technique.
As on safety razors with closed combs, the blade is held in place by the curvature of the cap. The combination of open tooth comb and a gap behind the foam edge ensures that the edge is kept free of stubble and residues. This innovative design also makes subsequent cleaning easier.
The shaving result is dependent on the factors beard growth, the density and length of the beard hair, and how these interact with the blade and safety razor. Some will achieve optimal results with a very sharp blade, while others can profit more from gentler blades.
When shaving, the safety razor should at first be drawn across the skin without applying any pressure at all. Shaving with the grain is often sufficient and renders a second shave in the opposite direction unnecessary. The skin should be stretched taut at all times.
The safety razor with its toothed foam edge is predestined for men with a denser, stronger beard growth or for those who prefer to sport three-day stubble. The model variants include handles made of white and black high-grade resin or with chrome-plated chasing.
