    Description

    From the Solomon Islands group, a Malaita prestige and war club called Sube or Subi.
    Unlike many that we have seen over the years, this club is finely chip carved in a complex, traditional pattern. From the undamaged tip down to the ferrel this complex pattern is repeated on both sides.
    Carved from a quality wood with no flaws. The condition is very good with no cracks or losses.
    Originally collected in the post WWII period.
    21 3/4" in length, 3" in width at widest point. Grip is 8".
