China World War II in 1943-1944 paper ephemera from the scrapbook of U.S. Army Colonel E. Schlater Montague. Includes a note with the name of Chinese Brig. Gen. Lee Pon Fan, Hunan Province, China, on the reverse side is Col. Montague with Chinese writing below. A Christmas card mailed from China showing a Chinese worker in the field with a sickle and Santa waiving from a U.S. bomber. Two Chinese stamps as found. A red name of Col. Montague with Chinese writing at the top plus a note in Chinese. A photo of Col. Montague (left side on first row) with notation from his scrapbook "on the Burma Road".  A "Safety Match" advertisement, possibly from the box, with lion and Chinese writing a bottom.  Lastly is  a Vol.I No. 300 publication of "The ASC Bulletin" Friday, Jan. 7, 1944 from Kunming, China. From Yuenling, Jan. detailed description of the heavy fighting at Changchiachang. Report from Changte, the enemy is rushing reinforcements to their positions at Ouchikow....
