    Offered in this sale is an antique Japanese pottery beer stein with lid decorated with all over moriage decoration. It measures roughly 9" tall to the top of the cover knob, 7 3/8" to the top of the rim x 4 1/8" wide. One side of the stein is decorated with three finely painted figures. The other side is decorated with four large blue asian characters. The condition is excellent. Other than one small bit of loss on one of the tiny red beads in the thin band surrounding the base of the image, otherwise, there are no other chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or restoration. Fine, highly all over decorated piece of moriage.
