4 Soapine Victorian Trade Cards w/ Gold Gilt Providence RI Advertisement

Description

Up for sale is a group of 4 Antique Victorian Trade Card Advertisements for "Soapine" a soap product from Providence, Rhode Island. Circa 1880-1890s.
One card has a graphic of a young girl and her dog looking at a statue of a cherub with the word "OCTOBER" at the bottom. The second has a graphic of a young girl playing a mandolin type instrument. The third card is a German card that has a baby in a toga with a leaf headpiece, pouring blood on the ground with the word "OCTOBRE" at the bottom. The fourth card is a German card that has a baby with a paper and a box with the word "JANVIER" at the bottom. The two German cards have advertisements for the product "French Laundry". The other two have advertisements for "Dirt Killer Soap" by Soapine and "Soapine".
All cards have light wear and discoloration from age. One card has a noticeable crease mark as shown in the photos. All the cards still display very nicely. The card comes in a hard plastic protective sleeve as pictured.
