This is an extremely early publication of the New China News Agency, the forerunner of Xinhua. NEWS from LIBERATED CHINA is described as the only regular source of news from the communist led Chinese forces during WWII. This publication features news and propaganda supporting the war effort against Japan. It is especially interesting because it describes cooperation with the Kuomintang and support of the United States efforts against Japan. This is a very rare historical document. Few if any survived the conflict. Most of this publication were likely destroyed in the years after the war.
